- Recital cast……regular students with guests Evan Brienza, Anne Callaway, and Tom Hale.(Click to view full picture.)
- All 3 of Cassie’s songs were great……she showed such versatility and range! They were all wonderful, but her classical piece in Spanish was very impressive!
- Evan and Anne did such a good job of this song, “Down By the Sally Gardens.” It was a very difficult arrangement for flute and voice.
- “It’s up to you….New York……New York!”
- Jessica did an incredible job. Her classical piece was I Attempt From Love’s Sickness, and two Broadway favorites, If I Loved You, and As Long As He Needs Me. She also played two songs on the piano.
- Jessica’s little sis after the recital. She took the mic, stood on the platform, and said, “I need piano!” A student started playing and singing she went! :-)
- Mary Claire did such a great job…..played three pieces on the piano and sang two songs. Excellent all the way around!
- Sue finished the recital in style…..with a rockin’ gospel rendition of Amazing Grace, accompanied by Tom Hale, harmonica.
- Sue’s classical piece, Se Tu M’ami…..vocals were excellent and her Italian impeccable! She also did a great “jazzy job” of Skylark.
Our Fall Recital was held on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Guests enjoyed a cabaret setting with refreshments and great entertainment. The program featured some of Cherry’s voice and piano students, along with guest artist, Evan Brienza. Also accompanying the performers were special appearances by Tom Hale, harmonica, and Anne Callaway, flute. The recital was SRO (standing room only)! We look forward to presenting our next recital in the spring of 2011.
